Solution for yesterday’s problem

Conventional method

Let the cost price of first horse = x; selling price = 1.15x

Let the cost price of second horse = y; selling price = .92y

By supposition, 1.15x = .92y; => x/y = 92/115

Now, divide $1440 with this ratio

1440* (115/207) = $800

Fastrac method

1440*(100+% gain of first horse)/(100+%gain of first+100-% loss of second horse)

Today’s problem
